Dr. Lisdahl was interviewed on the radio:

The issue of substance abuse among young people hit a major milestone in the last couple of years. Among teenagers, marijuana use is now more common than cigarette smoking, and trails only alcohol in frequency.

There has been a significant amount of research into how marijuana affects cognitive ability, but a Milwaukee researcher is now looking into a physical link. Krista Lisdahl is an assistant professor of psychology at UW-Milwaukee, and is undertaking a groundbreaking study on the interaction between exercise and marijuana use.
